Projet de résidences principales
This project for three primary residences is located in the Saint Barth area of Lorient. The three-home complex was designed as a reinterpretation of traditional Creole cottages. To do so, we reproportioned the volumes to create a contemporary version for the 21st century.
Each one is different, but all three respect the local architectural codes, with four-sided peaked roofs, wood siding, and traditional local stone cladding used with a modern sensibility. The challenge was to place three separate habitations on the same piece of land, leaving generous gardens and maintaining personal privacy.
