PRIVATE HOME
VILLA JUNE
Program : A 6 bedrooms house with swimming pool
Mission: General design + Visa
Location: Corossol, St Barthelemy
Status: Delivered in 2018
Budget: €3 300 000
Size: 345,5 m2

Reinterpretation of the Corossol fisherman’s cabin in St Barth’s.
Composed of several structures, this project of traditional red sheet metal roof with broken sides, exposes its external eaves like razor blades bringing finesse and elegance to the building. The hut is nestled on two contemporary red wooden blocks, a tribute to the bay’s naval carpentry tradition.

A trapezoidal pool creating perspective effects balances the composition.
This project uses the double orientation and the composition of its structures to naturally refresh the project. Finally, it is dressed in wood, adorned with stone and uses the tones of the landscape to delicately blend into the decor, despite the frank and assumed structures, resolutely contemporary.
