The DIC project consists of creating a property composed of 2 residences in Merlette, perched on the heights of Flamands Bay in a very rugged and difficult-to-access terrain.

The project comprises a 5-bedroom master villa with a pool, along with a caretaker’s accommodation. Designed as a refined and minimalist reinterpretation of traditional Caribbean gallery houses, this building interacts with the rugged topography of the land to establish itself on terraces, allowing for comfortable outdoor extensions for each space.

A bioclimatic, earthquake-resistant, and cyclone-resistant project, it is adorned with traditional local stones and zinc roofing, inspired by surfer houses, and serving as a bridge between tradition and modernity.
