This project encompasses two residences with dependances in the Hansen area in the hills of Colombier, St Barthélemy. It drew its inspiration from the codes and materials of local architecture, reinterpreted by the architects. The higher residence has three-bedroom with a terrace and swimming pool. It is divided into two separate buildings inked by an exterior deck with greenery that mixes nicely with the wooden shingles on the facades, recreating the spirit of a traditional Creole cottage. The lower residence comprises two bedrooms with an exterior kitchen, as well as a terrace nestled in a tropical garden. The project was conceived following the precepts of bioclimatic architecture in the Caribbean. The façade is punctuated with a wooden structure whose vertical aspect is reflected by pillars, with the horizontal plane of a pergola. A project on a human scale, pleasant to live in.
