RENOVATION
APARTMENT SED PARIS
Program: Renovation of a Parisian apartment
Mission: Design and realization
Location: Paris 11th arrondissement, France
Status: July 2024
Surface area: 50 sqm

Located in the heart of Paris’s 11th arrondissement, this two-room apartment suffered from a lack of natural light and an inefficient layout that restricted its potential.

The careful selection of materials and colors, meticulous attention to detail, well-thought-out layout, and custom-made furniture have resulted in a high-quality renovation, all within a controlled budget.

Initial Condition

The kitchen was closed off and devoid of natural light, making the space uninviting and offering limited workspace.
The living room layout was constrained by the kitchen, forcing a small sofa and an awkward distribution of space despite the generous overall area.
The toilet was not separate from the bathroom, and the angled bedroom wall made it difficult to place the bed, which was misaligned with the door.

Completed Project

The new, open kitchen now floods with natural light and features a spacious countertop that blends seamlessly into the living room, restoring its full potential.
The bathroom was completely reconfigured to include a comfortable vanity and furniture that fits the new space perfectly.
The hallway was redesigned to accommodate a separate toilet from the bathroom, enhancing both functionality and comfort.
Invisible rails, floor-to-ceiling doors, and a custom-fitted wardrobe elevate the bedroom to a premium level. A clever headboard corrects the angled wall, positioning the bed logically within the space.
